Evan Hackel, CEO

Evan Hackel is Founder and Principal of Ingage Consulting, a consulting firm focused on improving the performance of Franchises by improving the relationship of franchisees and the franchisor. By creating a culture of partnership and common purpose, Ingage Consulting is able to help Franchises dramatically improve their performance.

Before founding Ingage Consulting, Evan worked at CCA Global Partners for twenty years. At CCA, he was responsible for four business divisions with over 2000 units, over $5 billion in sales operating in four countries. He also founded CCA’s departments in marketing, national programs, and training. He led the company's effort to buy and turn around a troubled franchise organization from bankruptcy. In four years he was able to grow the troubled franchise from 250 locations to a very successful company with over 550 locations.

In total, Evan has helped launch and found three franchise businesses during his career Two of those were at CCA—which are still successfully operating now—and one, prior to CCA, which he founded, developed and sold.

Evan received an MBA from Boston College and a BA in Economics from Colorado College. He is a current and former board member of several organizations, cooperatives and groups to which he lends his expertise.

Evan resides in Reading, Massachusetts with his wife, Laura, and three children.

Cordell Riley, Partner

Currently serving on the IFA Supplier Board. Past CFE on the IFA Board of Govenors and the IFA”s Education Foundation

Cordell is a 20 year franchising veteran. He currently serves as the president of Tortal, which specializes in the creation of custom, interactive web-based training solutions for the franchise industry. Tortal assists its franchise customers by lowering the cost associated with training, while also expanding training reach and improving operational consistency.

Cordell holds a BBA from Mississippi State University. After graduation, Cordell joined Meineke as a Field Operations Manager and two years later was appointed Manager of Customer Relations and Warranty Performance. In 1999, he assumed the position of Director of Training, which assigned him the responsibility of training all employees within both the Meineke franchise system and the corporate offices.

Cordell currently serves on the Educational Foundation for the International Franchise Association (IFA). Additionally, he has served as a member of the Education Committee of the Automotive Aftermarket Association, the International Franchise Association, and the Board of Trustees for the Motorist Assurance Program. Through these memberships and his current service, Cordell continues to facilitate many seminars and workshops on the subject of franchise training.

Janet Brideaux, Director of Communications

Janet Brideaux leads Communication Services for Ingage Consulting clients. With over 10 years of experience in internal and external communications, Janet's career has focused on providing strategic communications counsel and leading the development of integrated communication plans that drive the company's vision, instill its brand and engage employees across the business. Janet has worked for franchise organizations in the distribution, food and retail industries.

Stephanie Stiles, Director Project Management

Stephanie Stiles has over 17 years of experience in Learning and Development. Her efforts were initially focused in the financial industry prior to joining Tortal in 2002 as an Instructional Designer. She is currently acting as Project Manager, overseeing the design and development of Tortal’s eLearning solutions. Stephanie is instrumental in working with Tortal’s clients and the Tortal team to ensure training needs are met and delivered.

Mike Ziglar, Project Manager and Instructional Designer

Mike Ziglar has over 27 years of experience in the fields of Learning and Development and Customer Service. Mike joined Tortal in 2007 after an 18-year career with Delta Air Lines, Inc. where he worked in Customer Service, Station Supervision, Corporate Security, Learning Facilitation, and Learning Design. Mike has an associate’s degree in Aviation Maintenance and Technologies in which he obtained his aircraft mechanical licenses for both airframe and power plant ratings. He is currently Tortal’s Senior Instructional Designer, performing many functions to maintain the production process as well as research and develop new products.

Brannon Dreher, Client Engagement Manager

Brannon Dreher joins Tortal Training as a Client Engagement Manager. Brannon has over 15 years’ experience in business development, event planning, marketing, international marketing, sales management, brand positioning, e-marketing, direct marketing, social media and public relationships across a number of commercial, industrial, and retail market niches. Brannon brings a continual learning focus, and communication skills to produce quantifiable results.

Brannon returns to the Learning and Development space to provide blended learning solutions for companies based on need and to create customized learning solutions for the clients, while increasing the effectiveness of company’s human capital whether it’s business development, service through client retention or effective leadership.

Brannon also coaches a 18U-17U Showcase Baseball team named the Charlotte Megastars. Brannon recruits young talented baseball players throughout North Carolina and South Carolina to play in his organization. Mentoring/coaching these young men to be leaders, helping them receive scholarship money and preparing them for college, career and their life.
Brannon volunteers for an afterschool program for at risk kids at Billingsville Elementary, mentoring and coordinating fund raising events for the program.

Brannon holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing & Business Development, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing & Management and had his thesis published (Dreher, B. (2011). Alternative Agriculture for the Tobacco Farmer in Kentucky Business Lexington)

Matthew Cole, Instructional Designer Specialist

Matthew Cole is a new Instructional Designer/Developer Specialist with a degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology with eight years of training and development experience. Matthew currently serves as an active board member for the American Society for Training and Development, Charlotte Chapter (ASTD).

Lee Wedgeworth, Vice President of Technology

Lee has over 17 years of software development and Web administration experience covering a wide array of technologies and industries. Lee’s technical proficiency and strategic understanding of various user levels and technology-based business approaches allows him to create and improve processes to elevate performance and enhance profitability in both technical and non-technical organizations.

Joshua R. De la Vega, IT Support

Joshua is a bilingual IT professional with development and project management experience in various technology platforms, in diverse cultures and environments (latin-american and north-american). Josh has 12 years of experience as a consultant working with various Web Development companies and is a hands-on Web developer avid to discover ways of putting new technologies to work. His experience in managing Web projects has allowed him to develop competencies in planning, deploying, migrating and developing the most intricate software solutions and generating solid customer relationships.
